Jone is a retired history teacher and library/media specialist. 

She holds Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in history from Georgia State University and an Education Specialist degree in children’s literature from the University of Georgia. 

She enjoys experiencing, learning and sharing stories in all their forms.
